26-year-old Jaymie Adams who was last seen around 11:00 PM on December 9, 2011 by her husband, Justin Adams, at their home in Blanchard, OK. Jaymie’s 2004 Chrysler Town & Country van was located at McDonald’s at 9000 SE 29th Street in Oklahoma City the next morning. The van was locked, but Jaymie was nowhere to be seen.
Investigators have finally made an arrest in the murder of 28-year-old Cori Daye Desmond. CrimeShadows News first brought you the story of Desmond’s mysterious death on February 18. The young woman’s body had been found just two days earlier, wrapped in a bag and dumped in a ravine near a San Bernardino Mountain road. Her body had suffered blunt force trauma, but an exact cause of death has not been released.
A warrant was issued yesterday for Curtis Grant Dorton of 3rd Battalion, 11th Marines Regiment of Twentynine Palms, California. Dorton is a nineteen-year-old white male. He is being charged with first degree rape in relation to his involvement with sex parties where a twelve-year-old girl was exploited by Amy Rivera, a woman she had been staying with. Rivera also had sex with the child, a classmate of her son’s. Rivera had sex with several Marines while her husband was stationed in Iraq. She also brought the child along so several Marines could have sex with a sixth-grader.
At approximately 10:54 AM Friday, June 12, 2009, the Garfield County, Colorado Communications Center received a report of human remains found by a teenage boy who was clearing trash in the area. The body was located on private property on County Road 137 (Canyon Creek Road).
