Damian Blake Burkhalter – Youth Minister, Pedophile (Allegedly!)

Damian Burkhalter, one of the leaders of the above safety sessions, has just been arrested (June 14) for having sex with a young girl. Burkhalter was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Burkhalter forced himself on the fourteen-year-old victim (now 15) in the church, in his office, the basement of the church, on church trips, a school parking lot, and even Burkhalter’s home.

Richard M. Greco Just Won’t Stop

Richard Greco, a LeFlore County, Oklahoma child molester who, after his release from the state penitentiary at McAlester, moved to Arkansas. You see in Arkansas, he didn’t have to register unless he was caught victimizing children after August 1, 1997.

Greco was convicted on April 27, 1990 of Lewd Molestation. He was sentenced to 15 years, of which he only served less than six. He’s been running free since February 3, of 1996.

Alexander Combs: Creepy Camp Counselor

Alexander Reed Combs, 22, recently graduated from the University of Minnesota. You would think he was moving into the adult world. On the contrary –he was more interested in children. Alex Combs didn’t care so much about mentoring or guiding youth through the challenges of life. Though, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell from just looking. Combs volunteered at a Mukwonago camp for children. I have a feeling he left a few things off of his application.

Michael W. VanNess: Is This Creep Really Necessary?

26-year-old Micheal William VanNess was not on New York’s registry of sex offenders. Apparently, being a child molester isn’t enough to get you on the list in the state of New York. I guess the perverts up there have too much competition, or something. VanNess did show up on North Carolina’s sex offender registry, where he was listed as residing at 10 Lupine Lane in Queensbury, New York. I guess North Carolina realizes that perverts often cross state lines and they are liable to repeat their crimes. In New York, offenders like VanNess aren’t considered dangerous enough to alert the public about. That’s why one little girl is very lucky her dad had an eye out. The man was able to catch a predator in the act.
