The story of missing tot Caylee Anthony and the lukewarm (if not downright cold) behavior of the child’s mother, Casey, has captivated the interest of an immense audience from the beginning. Now that we have the verdict, a proclamation of “not guilty,” thousands of Americans and people worldwide have expressed their outrage. We have all seen the evidence. We have watched her indifference and apathy daily.
The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner failed to find Jody Rilee-Wilson’s cause of death. However, it has been determined that someone dragged her to the area where her body was found after she had died. There were abrasions to her back and hand, and a leg contusion. Someone had to have dragged her at least 35 feet from a logging road into the woods.
Eli Johnson was three years old. He was a cute little boy. He was an innocent child. But, the people in little Eli’s life led volatile lives. His parents fought with each other. His mother, Tye Nicole Shafer, fought with her boyfriend and her ex-husband. Her boyfriend fought with his wife. The adults were fighting and the kids –and there are more kids– were in the midst of this instability. They were in danger.
Dennis Kaufman turned over three rolls of film to the FBI. They gave them back and said they were nothing more than family photos. But, Dennis hasn’t given up, yet. He gave more photos to Dr. Stephen Dewhurst to develop and has even had some of the photos published on TV and the Internet. But, are these photos images of murder or “snuff film”?
