Tommy Zeigler has been on death row for 35 years and has claimed his innocence all the while. On his side are a former newspaper editor, the daughter of the police chief that helped convict him, and many others who have seen the truth of Zeigler's claims.

Female Private Investigator and CEO of ReunitePeople.com, Lynn-Marie Carty believes strongly in Zeigler's innocence. She has worked full time on Zeigler's case for over a year -for free.

This guy pretty much admits that he's a sex offender. He goes on to say that God is on his side because God had a tornado hit his school when the police would not let him near it. Anyway, we spotted him on Facebook and now we're going to try and have him removed.

Threats was convicted of sexual abuse and carnal knowledge & indecent acts with a minor/rape in 2002. Why was a 35-year-old man wanting to be near a high school in the first place?

I received the following email in defense of accused sexual batterer Dr. Narenda K. Gupta. Notice how the man speaks of the doctor's patients, his alleged victims:

I have known the doc since 2005 and his biography speaks for itself. Most your the patients he was treating are not medical professionals and have no clue what they are talking about and are just jealous and just racist and vindictive. They are retarded rednecks with no education or brains. Gupta on the other hand has the following background:

Dr. Narendra K. Gupta graduated from medical school in 1977. He then completed his studies of Internal Medicine in England and studied Nephrology in Canada. He is a board certified Fellow with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Ohio and is currently a visiting Assistant Professor at Emory Medical University. He is also on the boards for GMI and GTI.

Dr. Gupta is a nationally recognized speaker, educating other physicians about the new and proven trends in medicine. He is specifically recognized as a speaker on the various aspects of the "Metabolic Syndrome", known as the "Terrible Quartet", which includes Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol and Obesity.

Dr. Gupta has received many medical research grants and actively participates in the latest clinical research in all areas of the "Terrible Quartet". He was elected as one of one hundred national physicians to join the Vascular Biology Group at the University of Florida to research the multiple effects of hypertension, high cholesterol and renal dialysis on the blood vessels of the body.

Currently, he is researching a 24-hour blood pressure control program that will maximize the benefits of controlling hypertension while minimizing the amount of side effects.

And he went to Cambridge University and has a bunch of other accolades. Most of the best doctors in America are Indian anyway. The US educations system is in shambles and the new generation of Americans rank poorly in educational attainments. Go after real criminals like the crooked attorneys who make the doctor's lives a living hell. He may be filing an injunction against your website to remove this false accusation. We have our own history of Gupta's actions. I wouldn't call them accolades:

58-year-old Narendra Kumar Gupta, a Fulton County, Georgia physician, was arrested at the Diabetes and Hypertension Center in Johns Creek, Georgia, the same city in which the doctor resides. Gupta was accused of conducting inappropriate examinations of two females. He has been charged with sexual battery.

Police said that a 17-year-old girl saw Gupta about a hormone injection for birth control. The girl told them that Gupta performed a breast and pelvic examination –without a female assistant in the room. When a female employee tried to come in the room, Gupta told her to stay out.

According to police, this is not an isolated incident. A 28-year-old woman says that Gupta "examined" her in a similar fashion. She was there to be treated for hypertension. At least three or four similar cases have been referred to police by the Georgia Medical Board.

Gupta's booking record at the Fulton County jail indicated that two misdemeanor charges of sexual battery have been filed against him.

This was not the first time Gupta has been involved in a sexually-related scandal. CrimeShadows News research finds that Gupta was accused of sexual harassment in the state of Ohio before he moved to Georgia. Before Gupta was accused of molesting his patients in Georgia, he apparently targeted the nurses he worked with in Ohio. As police seek more victims, the disturbing details of Gupta's past are revealed below.

In 1996, Dr. Narendra K. Gupta was accused of sexual harassment by two female nurses. A peer review was subsequently held and Gupta lost his privilege to practice medicine at both St. Rita's Hospital and Lima Memorial Hospital. Gupta was then required to obtain legal counsel and participate in a treatment program. (src: Meena Gupta v. Narendra K. Gupta – July 28, 2000)

On October 6, 1997, Marjorie Jacobs, one of the nurses who claimed harassment on Gupta's behalf, filed suit against Gupta and was awarded $100,000. Jacobs claimed "intentional infliction of emotional distress." Jacobs had worked for Gupta between 1994 and 1995. The jury ruled in her favor, finding Gupta's actions "both professionally and personally" to be "intolerable and unacceptable." The jury also found that Gupta's conduct toward Jacobs was "extreme and outrageous."

Jacobs was employed as the clinical shift supervisor in the coronary intensive care unit of St. Rita's Medical Center, a postion she held since February of 1991. Jacobs testified that Gupta's sexually offensive conduct began in early 1994. She said that Gupta would place his arm around her and pull her "real tight," rub his hand against her inner thigh, and rub her rear end while in the unit. Jacobs also testified that Dr. Gupta tried to kiss her on the lips a couple of times when they were in the supply room and that he asked her out numerous times.

Two specific incidents of misconduct on the behalf of Dr. Gupta were related to the jury. The first happened in October of 1994. Jacobs and Gupta were in a patient's room. Gupta had said to Jacobs "Why won't you go out with me?," and "Why can't we have a relationship?" Jacobs testified that Dr. Gupta "ran his hands across (Jacob's) breasts."

The second incident also occurred in the room of a patient. Jacobs testified that in December of 1994, she had knelt down to check the patient's catheter and Gupta reached around her, held her arms down and then pulled her over to the corner of the room where he tried to kiss her. She tried to pull away, but he continued holding her arms with his one arm and "the other one he had all over [her]." Jacobs also indicated that she and other nurses found it practical to avoid being alone with Gupta.

Two other nurses who worked in the unit with Jacobs testified about their concerted efforts to keep Gupta away from Jacobs. One of the nurses related that Jacobs appeared "rattled and fearful" after she came from a patient's room with Dr. Gupta one night in December. The other nurse remembered seeing Jacobs shaken up later that evening. Both nurses also noticed that Gupta would pay more attention to Jacobs than the other nurses.

Dena Klinger, a nurse at Lima Memorial Hospital, also testified at the trial. Klinger related an incident occurring at a Christmas party at Gupta's home where the two had danced. She said that from December 1995 through January 1996 Narenrda Gupta had "asked her out" numerous times,though she told him to stop. She also said that on one occasion Gupta "pulled her close so that they were touching, rubbed her thigh, and then tried to pull her into his office." (src: Marjorie Jacobs v. Narendra K. Dr. Narendra Gupta's wife divorced him after the allegations came to light. Gupta then moved his practice to Georgia, where the current accusations have arisen. Gupta has never been deprived of his medical license as a result of any of the allegations of misconduct.

It was last April that I first wrote about Tommy Zeigler and the efforts to gain his freedom. But it has been 36 years since the murder he was convicted of occurred. Many believe in Zeigler's innocence, and this time, they claim to have found the real killer.

William Thomas Zeigler Jr. has been on death row since 1976. But even now, efforts to free him continue. Zeigler's defense counsel is pushing for DNA testing in the case. Female Private Investigator and CEO of ReunitePeople.com, Lynn-Marie Carty has been working on the case of late. She believes that Zeigler was not only innocent in these murders, but was himself a victim of the killer.

The last article I wrote about Zeigler told of the press conference where Lynn-Marie Carty presented her discoveries concerning former Oakland Police Chief Robert Thompson, who was the first to arrive at the crime scene at Zeigler’s furniture store and rushed the injured Tommy Zeigler to the hospital. Thompson's daughter appeared with Carty at the press conference to corroborate his shady past. Thompson was involved in gun trafficking and a foiled assassination attempt on the president of Costa Rica, among other things.

Carty believes Thompson, who died in 1999, was involved in a conspiracy to kill Zeigler and then worked to frame him once he survived. The "real killer" may be a man named Robert Foster. Carty continues her research into the case. You can read the latest at the Florida Catholic.
