Today, we bring you an assortment of social networking sex offenders from the state of Connecticut. This is by no means a conclusive list –just a mere sampling. There are lots more of these offenders out there among the rest of us.
Kenneth Michael Wilcox has, the convicted kidnapper from Lubbock, Texas, has filed an appeal in the Fifth Circuit Court in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m sure the court will see that this is just a desperate attempt by Wilcox to get out of jail. He did the crime, but the times just aren’t that good anymore. There are no children in jail for him to tell spooky stories to. There are no little girls he can obsess about. There are no kids he can terrorize.
Morgan Harrington’s parents are worried that the murder of their daughter is related to a series of crimes in the Colonial Parkway. Harrington was a Virginia Tech student who was kidnapped after a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia and then killed.
At CrimeShadows News, we’re always hearing from the sex offenders who think that registries are a bad idea. I guess for a sex offender, they are bad. They let us know who the pervs are. Still, every now and then –and more often than one might think, one of these deviants gains a few yards. Larry Smart was one of those deviants. This story should reinforce the idea that certain sex offenders don’t stop being perverts –they just get better at fooling the public and the system.
