Aja Johnson: The Worst Has Happened
In January, we told you about missing Aja Johnson and Lester Hobbs, the sorry bastard that killed Aja's mother. Lester Hobbs took off with seven-year-old Aja Johnson and an Amber Alert was issued. They hadn't been seen since. Now, the news is even worse. Lester Hobbs has (apparently, as of this writing) killed the poor little girl he despised and then offed himself. Someone located the suspect vehicle in a rural area near Norman about 2:45 PM today. Police found two bodies at the scene. One was an adult and one was a child. There seems to be no doubt that the bodies are those of Lester Hobbs and Aja Johnson. They must have been there since late January, though that has not been officially determined.
Investigators found a note at the scene left by Hobbs. That note has not been released.
We all had a feeling that this would be how things turned out. Still, we wanted so much to believe that Aja would go back home to her father and a family that loved her.
Aja Johnson's life was stolen for no good reason whatsoever. May she rest in peace. Lester Hobbs, on the other hand, is no big loss. I only wish he left this world alone. Instead, he took two people with him –one of whom was an innocent child.
Mothers, keep your children away from the men who hate them. Only you can keep them safe from the men in your life.
