CSN Smackdown: A Trio of MySpace Losers
This CSN Smackdown will feature three North Dakota sex offenders who are, as of this writing, using MySpace to "social network." CrimeShadows News was made aware of the three offenders courtesy of the webmaster of The Dead Kids of Myspace, a site that focuses on sex offenders who use MySpace. I recommend you visit his site and bookmark it, especially if you have friends or family that use MySpace… (and who doesn't?)
CSN Smackdown: Ian Kellen Oska
Ian Kellen Oksa of Fargo, North Dakota was convicted in January of 2007 of gross sexual imposition (apparently, this is a legal term sometimes used when authorities would rather not say "rape".) Oksa has been classified as a High Risk sex offender.
According to his MySpace page, Oksa, aka "da_superfreak," only reads books in jail –where he prefers anything by John Grisham. I hope this wannabe gangsta gets to catch up on his reading someday.
We're seeking the removal of his MySpace page. And while we're at it…
Let's get him off of Facebook, too.
CSN Smackdown: Sandy Lee Mangelsen
Sandy Lee Mangelsen is a High Risk sex offender from Great Forks, North Dakota. In January of 2006 he was convicted of sexual contact of a child under 16 years of age. In November of 2007 Mangelsen was convicted of gross sexual imposition. Despite these perverted crimes, Mangelsen still links up with his peeps on MySpace with, not just one, but two separate pages. The profiles don't seem to have been logged into since 2007, but they still exist and we think they should be deleted for good measure.

CSN Smackdown: Brandon Lee Turner
Brandon Lee Turner's MySpace name is "Zero," and I, for one, think it is an apt moniker, for he is, indeed, a zero. Turner was convicted in January of 2003 of sodomy. He is required to register as a sex offender until 2018. However, he has absconded. So, this might mean a change in his registration requirements. Regardless, sex offenders are not allowed on MySpace.

Administration at MySpace and Facebook has been contacted regarding the profiles of the three offenders featured above. The profiles should be deleted soon. The offenders, however, will still be out there.
