There are some updates in the case of the Lawton, Oklahoma sixth-grader who was victimized last summer. The girl was staying with a Fletcher, Oklahoma woman while her parents were elsewhere not giving a damn. Meanwhile, the woman sexually-exploited the girl by taking her to motel parties where they engaged in alcohol and drug use while several Marines took their turns raping the child.
The Fletcher floozy is Amy Rivera, pictured here. The woman also had sex with the girl. Rivera was charged with procuring a child under 12 for lewd acts. The girl’s parents (and I use the term loosely) were charged with enabling child neglect. They will be tried in February, according to the Lawton Constitution. I know the names of the so-called guardians, but will withhold that information to protect the child, who has obviously been through enough at this point.
In January, the accused Marines (pictured below) are scheduled to appear in court.

Logan Combs, 20

Curtis Dorton, 20

Jordan Kinshella, 19
The DA wanted to allow the child to testify in court via closed-circuit television or written statement. However, defense lawyers insisted that the men have the right to face the child again according to the Constitution. By the time the trial takes place, the girl will have reached the ripe, old age of 13, so the girl will most likely testify. However, in interests of the victim, the court will still determine who is allowed to view the testimony.
