Wife Dead & Man Missing – Terrifying 911 Call
A very disturbing story is coming out of Georgia today. A woman is dead and her husband may be, too. Jennifer & Paul Budrawich, of Effingham County, Georgia, drove to Dawsonville on Saturday to visit their children. That day, the couple went missing –but not before the woman had a chance to call police. In the 911 call –which has been released, Jennifer Budrawich can be heard begging for her life. The voices of two men can be heard in the background. According to police, a male voices can be heard saying, "I'm going to kill both of you." Jennifer Budrawich can be heard screaming, "Why are you shooting us? The call paints a terrifying picture of the Jennifer (and possibly Paul's) final moments at the hands of a killer.

Jennifer: Please don’t kill me – I’ve got my babies.
Dispatcher: Hello? Hey, where are you? (Seconds of silence and a woman desperately sobbing can be heard.)
Dispatcher: Ma'am?
Jennifer: Why did you bring me down here to the river? (A man's voice can be heard in the background.)
Dispatcher: Ma'am, where are you?
The call continues with Jennifer's voice barely intelligible. The dispatcher continues to illicit a coherent response. The call ends with popping sounds.
Investigators' found the Budrawich's car, which had been abandoned on Highway 53 near the IGA grocery store, near the Pickens County line. Evidence in the car led them to a nearby river, where the body of 22-year-old Jennifer West Budrawich was found at about 3:30 PM Sunday (December 20). Paul Budrawich remains missing. (Strangely, his MySpace account shows a login today, December 20. -mood: worried.) Paul Budrawich is considered to be in "grave danger." (UPDATE: The body of Paul Budrawich was also found in the area.)
Two men have been arrested in connection with this case. 40-year-old Jesse James Kilgore has been arrested on murder charges in Dawson County. Kilgore is Jennifer's stepfather. He is also the father of one of her children. 27-year-old Benjamin Kelly Mullinax, Kilgore's nephew, was arrested for tampering with evidence.
The search for Paul Mullinax will continue tomorrow. Let us hope he has survived this terror. Our thoughts are with their children and those who loved and cared for these two.
