All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Just because someone is accused, does not necessarily mean they are guilty. This fact, however, does not diminish the right of the people to hold their own opinion, or their right to express that opinion freely.

Kenneth Michael Wilcox Gets 40 Years

WilcoxThis post is long overdue, and I mean that in more ways than just one. I’ve told you the strange story of weirdo Kenneth Michael Wilcox ever since he first kidnapped three kids. He’s a strange character to say the least. In case you don’t remember, try visiting the following links:

Kenneth Michael Wilcox Found Guilty (and weird)

Kenneth Michael Wilcox was convicted in May for the October kidnapping of three children. Wilcox abducted three Lubbock, Texas children, initially taking them on the pretense that he was going to take them with his own child to Six Flags. Long story short: he dropped his own son off at his ex’s house and took off with the kids. No Six Flags. No food. No proper shelter. Wilcox had a thing for one of the little girls and he planned to make off with her.

The search for Wilcox and his captives lasted two days. They were eventually found by police in Oklahoma. We now know that Wilcox intended to inflict bodily injury, sexually abuse and/or terrorize the children. Wilcox made statements to prosecutors, and to the children themselves, about torture, cannibalism, sexual slavery, and skinning people.

Wilcox "introduced the children to at least one man who told them he wanted to purchase them for $3,000 and was interested in eating or consuming the children because they would make tender meals."

Wilcox, on three separate occasions, took three women (one woman on each trip), to the same area near Idabel, Oklahoma where he later took the abducted children. Court documents show that on each occasion Wilcox frightened or terrorized the subjects through psychological mind games.

Wilcox insists he is innocent. We know he’s manipulative and cunning. He’s a big liar, but he’s not a good liar. Friday, he was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison.

You must watch the following video to get a feel for what kind of a creep Wilcox really is. He tries to explain himself by saying he was taking the kids to a casino, as if that was an appropriate excuse. He says he was at the river, not in the woods -as if that was somehow safer. He says he took the target of his affection with him (the oldest girl), leaving the two other children alone unsupervised because he didn’t trust the two older girls to be left together. But, we’re supposed to trust him alone with this girl. Listen as he explains away his bringing along a hatchet, "toy" handcuffs, and a tarp along with a road trip for children.

Kudos to NewsChannel 11 for a very revealing interview.

Good Riddance to Mr. Wilcox. May he stay behind locked doors until he dies.
