Richard M. Greco Just Won’t Stop

(I have received an email from Facebook. It looks like they followed through: "After reviewing the reported abuse, we have removed all offending content based on our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities.")
His MySpace is still up, though. I found it rather difficult to contact MySpace in regards to Mr. Greco, although I believe I did get a message through. I did include the same information sent to Facebook officials. As of yet, I haven’t heard a response. It is rather obvious that Greco continues to entertain perverted fantasies involving little boys. He has turned these fantasies into reality in the past, causing irreparable damage. He looks for profile photos that include images of young boys. Then he friends these people. What he says or does after that is unknown. If you have any information about this, or any other sex offender that continues to use the Internet to potentially gain access to children, use the contact button at the top of this page. I would very much like to hear from you.
Rich, if you are reading this, I suggest you remove your profile from MySpace.com. (Update: The MySpace has been deleted.) While you are at it, you might want to remove your profile from Multiply.com and any other website you might be tempted to use to contact children.
Richard Greco, a LeFlore County, Oklahoma child molester who, after his release from the state penitentiary at McAlester, moved to Arkansas. You see in Arkansas, he didn’t have to register unless he was caught victimizing children after August 1, 1997.
Greco was convicted on April 27, 1990 of Lewd Molestation. He was sentenced to 15 years, of which he only served less than six. He’s been running free since February 3, of 1996.
Around 2001, I came across a page on the Internet from a man in Arkansas who was running some kind of interactive art program with children. His project included sand art and snow sculptures, which were spray painted in various colors. I recognized the man’s name as an Oklahoma sex offender. I was shocked to see that not only was he loose, but he was luring children into his home. Needless to say, I contacted authorities in his locale. I also sent a cryptic message to the “artist”. A message that I was sure Greco would understand. One of the sculpture photos Greco had on his website was an alligator. My message said, and I’m paraphrasing, “What a realistic looking alligator. Someone should warn the children.” That website disappeared over night. Greco apparently went off the Internet –or so it seemed.
A little searching for Greco led me to the guestbook of a young Belgian singer called Michael Junior. Here is the message Greco left on the site of the boy singer:

You tell me –why would a grown man, 57-years-old, want to see photos of a young boy singer? Isn’t that the kind of thing you’d expect from a teenage girl in love with a teen idol? I think you get the picture.
Richard, or Rich, or Richie, whichever name he uses, often lies about his age. Sometimes he’s 27. Sometimes he’s 59. Sometimes he’s 55. You see, he doesn’t want people to put two and two together and figure out who (what) he is. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections website says that he was born on July 25, 1952.
I had written in an earlier post that Greco no longer uses the nickname “algaecat." I was mistaken. I did say that I knew "that he’s still lurking under some rock, perhaps on the Internet, waiting to strike." Here, I was not mistaken. He even continues to use the same username, as I have carefully confirmed.
As I often research this character to make sure he is not targeting children via the Internet, I came across more of his online activities.
Richard Greco has a MySpace page. He doesn’t have friends or commenters, but I bet he sends a lot of messages.
He also has a Facebook page. I notice that he is friends with a few people there. I’m not on his friend’s list, so I don’t know what kind of comments he makes. I do notice that the photos of his friends include images of young blonde-haired boys –the type that Greco is sexually-attracted to. I will be contacting those friends via Facebook to let them know who they are dealing with.
It appears that Greco has a thing for the Sprouse Brothers. he is a frequent poster on their message boards.
Some of the children that Richard Greco victimized were contacted through his involvement with the Poteau, Oklahoma congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. At the time, he was married to a woman with twin boys, who he also abused. He would use the boys as an excuse to invite other boys over for "sleepovers." Greco would often lie with the little boys himself, while his wife was at work. This might help explain the content of the next post (his first of nine left at the site):

so, you would like to possibly live in new jersey?…i lived there at your age, from 12-18, it was great at the time, i enjoyed the country, and all the trees and creeks and stuff, but only 13 miles from new york city…very small world there…i was raised up in brooklyn new york, and my best friend at the time, just moved in from california to brooklyn, i didnt understand that one…anyway, i went to coney island almost everyweekend, and rode my bike all over…brooklyn has many bad points, but some cool ones too, like the beaches…in jersey you will get very cold and snowy days, utilities are expensive…so get a house with a fireplace, and solar heat…i hope your dreams come true, i am still waiting for a few of mine to happen, and i guess, some have…i lived in california for 15 years…and some of my relatives live in san fernando valley and simi valley, some in hollywood, and west hollywood…i used to go into cbs to visit hans the cook, my grandfather’s friend…rich

i hope you go to the jersey shores this summer, be sure to visit seaside heights, and seaside park, and be careful in the jersey waters, there are definitely sharks…when i was 16, i spent 9 days down at seaside heights with friends, no money, and only a small suitcase of stuff, within 2 days i had not seen my suitcase nor my stuff, so i was left with a pair of cut off jeans and nothing else to my name…my mother wouldnt help me out, she said too bad, you wanted to go down there, now tough it out…well home was 45 minutes north, i did not have a car…so me and sal and keith survived there, and went home very tanned and skinny…sal’s mom came and picked us up in a 69 plymouth convertible, filled with 13 kids!!! piled on top of each other, all looking for rides home from the beach…the first thing i did when i got home was go right to the refrigerator, my mom just asked me if it was good to be home…you know the answer…if you go , enjoy, i would like to tell you the entire story of my adventure, you could actually make a movie out of it…rich

I will be contacting both MySpace and Facebook, as well as other sites where Greco may come into contact with potential victims, or families of potential victims. I will also be contacting those on his friends list so they can take the proper precautions. Oh yeah. I’ll also let the webmaster of the Sprouse Brothers site know. Hopefully, they’ll help to put an end to his perverted fantasies on that site.
