Michael V. Theriault Pled Guilty
Last September, we told you about Michael Theriault, the Suffolk, Virginia man who was charged with two counts of possessing child pornography and six counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Theriault was arrested on September 2 of last year. He had been taking nude photographs of a 13 year-old girl. Police searched Theriault’s computer and found the nude pictures of a child taken by Theriault on his computer.
Back then, Theriault had his own website. On that website, Theriault had provided his definition of integrity:
"Integrity: Always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching and I know I’m not gonna get caught."
Perhaps even then he realized that integrity was something he just did not possess.
Theriault, 40, pled guilty yesterday to nine counts of abusing a 13-year-old girl over eight months last year. His sentencing is scheduled for November 20. He has been convicted of two counts of producing child pornography, four counts of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
Theriault could get up to 90 years in prison. In a letter to the victim's mother, Theriault indicated that he needs a beating. I'm not going to argue with that.
