Alexander Combs: Creepy Camp Counselor
Alexander Reed Combs, 22, recently graduated from the University of Minnesota. You would think he was moving into the adult world. On the contrary –he was more interested in children. Alex Combs didn’t care so much about mentoring or guiding youth through the challenges of life. Though, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell from just looking. Combs volunteered at a Mukwonago camp for children. I have a feeling he left a few things off of his application. For instance, Combs liked to look at nude pictures of very young girl engaged in sexually explicit behavior. He also likes to have sexually explicit chats with little girls online. He pretty much confessed to police that he’s pervert. He had unspeakable images on his computer. Combs guessed that the youngest subject in the photos he had been "looking at" was probably around nine years old. Nine. A third or fourth grader. An innocent child. In order for Combs to look at these pictures, children were exploited. Horribly so. The criminal complaint (Wisconsin Department of Justice) describes the photos found on the hard drive of his laptop. The descriptions should be enough to incite rage in any parent. Most, however, will simply be glad that the subjects in these photos are someone else’s kids. Combs proclivity was discovered by authorities in South Carolina who were investigating a child exploitation case.
The camp where Combs volunteered has not been named. I have found a camp in Mukwonago where a volunteer named Alex Combs was listed, but I have been unable to solidly confirm that this is the same person and camp. Combs was about 6’8" tall and 185 pounds –a pretty imposing figure to a child. I certainly hope that his interest was limited to pornography, especially since he was in such close proximity to the objects of his desire.
Alexander Combs should appear in court today for his arraignment.
