Arrests Continue in Probe of Lawton/Fort Sill Child Rape Parties
CrimeShadows News has been following the case of a twelve-year-old girl who was sexually exploited by a Fletcher, Oklahoma woman. The woman, Amy Rivera (photo left), had brought the girl to motel parties in Lawton, Oklahoma so that U.S. Marines, stationed at Fort Sill, could have sex with her. The parties also involved drugs and alcohol.
Those Marines are currently being tracked down for prosecution. On July 16, we told you about the arrest warrant (for rape in the first degree) issued for PFC Curtis Grant Dorton of 3rd Battalion, 11th Marines Regiment of Twentynine Palms, California.(CrimeShadows News was the first and only place to reveal his identity at the time.) Dorton is now being held in jail in California. He’s waved extradition and should be headed back to Oklahoma within the next few days. On July 2, we told you about Lance Corporal Logan Byron Combs (photo right). He has been charged (July 2) with one count of first-degree rape for his involvement with the sixth grader.
The latest Marine to be charged is 18-year-old PFC Jordan Patrick Kinshella. (photo left) Kinshella was charged Tuesday with first degree rape for having sex with the sixth-grader. He is currently stationed in Koneoha Bay, Hawaii. The girl claims Kinshella and the other two Marines had sex with her at the parties. Other Marines also engaged in sexual activity with the girl. The investigation continues, and we’ll be watching.
Think about it. This child was in the sixth grade. This is a horrendous crime. Still, you might be surprised at the people who would try to diminish the outright perversion of child rape –even going as far as to blame the child. The girls parents have also been charged. I know their names (a matter of public record), but to protect the identity of the child, will not be revealing them here. I will say that they are largely responsible for this girl being placed in the situation she was in. They allowed their kid to stay with a perverted woman (whom they didn’t even know) for around two months. They probably used more care in who they loaned their tools to. They didn’t seem to give a damn what was happening to her. I hope they are given some time to consider their actions without the distractions of being able to walk free.
