Michael Evan Kushner: Dentist, Child Pornography Enthusiast, Etc.
51-year-old Michael Evan Kushner of Langhorne, Pennsylvania was arrested on June 3, 2009 for viewing and downloading pornographic images of children between 8 and 12 years old. The videos depict young girls as young as 8 years old engaged in various sex acts and bondage. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children confirmed that the images are indeed of children.
Kushner was arrested by Bensalem and Middletown Police. Kushner is a dentist with an office at 1936 Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia. He has been licensed as a dentist in Pennsylvania since 1984. His dentistry license was last renewed on March 19 of this year, as was his permit to administer anesthesia.
Kushner’s dentistry license reflected no disciplinary action. Other records of Kushner’s were not so clean: On August 20 of last year, Kushner was arrested by the Bristol Township Police Department for DUI: Controlled Substance – Combination Alcohol/Drugs, DUI: General Impairment/Incapable of Driving Safely, Disregard Traffic Lane (Single), Intentional Possession of Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, and Careless Driving. Despite his drug abuse, no apparent action was taken in regards to his license to practice. As we’ve found out here at CrimeShadows News, when you have a license to practice medicine, you can get away with a lot before the licensing board takes notice.
A search warrant was executed at Kushner’s home on Teal Dr. in Langhorne, PA in Bucks County. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with 8 counts of Dissemination of Child Pornography, 50 counts of Possessing Child Pornography and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility –all of which are felonies. Let’s hope that getting justice in this case isn’t like pulling teeth.
Kushner is incarcerated in Bucks County in lieu of $750,000.

If you think child pornography is a a victimless crime, I'm not surprised that Kushner would be one of the finest people you know.

June 10th, 2009 at 11:47 PMi agree its is not right to prejudge a person without knowing the real reason why this happened, there are possibilities that this could be a work of a hacker, this are rampant nowadays. but child pornography is a serious case.
