John Perry-Rydz is a Pervert
John J. Perry-Rydz, 25, told investigators that he had a preference for "pre-teen girls." That is why he used a hidden camera to capture video of his 10-year-old relative as she undressed in his bathroom. Perry-Rydz, of Grand Chute, Wisconsin, was being investigated for child pornography by the FBI. His computer was confiscated in September of 2008. Investigators discovered over 1000 child pornography images. Two video files were of the child in his bathroom, changing into and out of her swimsuit. He confessed to setting up the camera used to spy on the child. The videos were taken last summer.
According to Perry-Rydz, he knew he had a problem. He even went to his cousin, a fellow pervert, for help. Perry-Rydz figured since his cousin had been to prison for assaulting a child, he might have some good advice. Or maybe he had a few tips on being a pervert. Unfortunately, perverts don't change. They just keep right on being perverts.
Perry-Rydz has been charged in Outagamie County Court with 20 counts of child pornography and two counts of capturing an image of nudity. Prosecutors are also seeking to have him supervised as a dangerous offender for the remainder of his life. John Perry-Rydz is being held on a $25,000 bond.
