In the Works at America’s Most Wanted

America’s Most Wanted won’t be airing this Saturday, but they’re still hard at work. Here’s a look at a couple of the big cases AMW is working on:

Unknown Bennie Angelo Killer: Bennie Angelo was a patriot who served his country in its time of need during World War II, and he survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. But more than 65 years later, on Jan. 7, 2007, Ohio cops say the 87-year-old was ambushed by violent robbers in his home. The attackers not only stole the contents of Bennie’s home safe, they took Bennie’s life and they set a fire to cover their tracks.

Unknown Riggs Park Jane Doe Killer: Cops in Washington, D.C. say that someone took a young woman’s life and threw her body in a dumpster like a piece of trash. Now, they need your help to find out who she was — and who killed her.

Also, next time you’re browsing around AMW.com, check out the My Story section. It gives victims an opportunity to write a letter to AMW and have it read by those who visit the site.

While you’re there, check out the AMW Rundown where Producer Jenna Naranjo sits down with AMW staff to give visitors a weekly update on our biggest cases.
