Pamela Sue Purser’s Killer (Her Own Son) Has Been Arrested
Police in Norman, Oklahoma arrested Lee Wayne Purser in connection with the murder of his mother, Pamela Sue Purser. Purser is in the Carter County jail in Ardmore, Oklahoma. OSBI investigators say that evidence gathered at the crime scene implicates Purser in the stabbing death of his mother.
Pamela Sue Purser, 53, was found murdered inside her home in the 5200 block of Meridian Lane Road just after 5:00 PM in Lone Grove, OK on June 17, 2007. Lee Wayne Purser claimed to have found her dead. Her throat had been cut several times with a knife. The woman’s two-year-old grandson, of whom she had custody, was apparently in the home when she was killed. The child was not harmed.
Lee Purser had been arrested only months before the murder on drug-related charges. The OSBI said that recent laboratory results point to Lee Purser as the killer of his mother.

This was a horrific crime. One that was quite possibly committed in full view of a child. The killer has shown no remorse. He has let the death of his own mother linger in mystery for well over a year. Now, thanks to the efforts of Oklahoma law enforcement, justice may be served. This was a job well done. The sad thing is, there is so much more left to do. There are still many unsolved crimes waiting for justice. We can only hope they someday see resolution.
