Old Perverts Don’t Die, They Just Try to Kidnap Little Boys
You know, there are some people out there that think when a criminal gets old, he’ll just “retire” from his crimes. After all, who would think that an octogenarian would pose a threat to anyone? There are even some bleeding hearts out there that would see fit to free all of the elderly offenders. They think they’re too old and pitiful to do any harm. Well, this case is a perfect example of what is so wrong with that kind of reasoning.
Melvin Morris Whitson is a dirty old man. In January of 1993, when Mr. Whitson was 68 years old, he was convicted of two counts of lewd acts with a child under 16. Since then, Whitson has aged another 15 years. He’s still a pervert, though. In fact, he’s pretty active for his age. While some senior citizens play cards, or golf, or go fishing, Mr. Whitson has other games in mind.
On July 12, Melvin Whitson tried to kidnap a little boy. The wrinkled weirdo grabbed the eleven year-old by his wrist and tried to force him into his dented-up minivan near 12 and Shawnee in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The kid was trying to walk home from a friend’s house when Whitmore tried to abduct him.
The boy was able to escape Melvin Whitson by kicking him in his timeworn testicles. Whitson will face trial for a felony county of attempted kidnapping. He’s due back in court on October 29.
