Jeffery Wayne Dallen – Perverted Elementary Teacher
Jeff Dallen has taught music at Homer School near Ada, Oklahoma for four years. This week, a student at Homer reported that he/she was inappropriately touched by Mr. Dallen. When confronted about the incident, Dallen admitted his evil lust. Not only that, but Dallen reportedly confessed to harming two other Homer elementary students in the same manner. Dallen said he started his molestations in November of last year, just before the Thanksgiving break. His last molestation occurred just this month.
Dallen has also taught at Stonewall and Roff schools. Homer is in the Byng School district. Dallen’s wife, Vicki Lynn Dallen, is principal of the lower elementary school at Homer. Byng Superintendent of Schools released a statement yesterday, saying, “We intend to fully cooperate with authorities in this continuing investigation. The protection and safety of each and every student is our top priority.”
Dallen was arrested by Ada police and Pontotoc County Sheriff’s deputies. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
The following letter was published on the home page of the Byng Schools website:
Letter to Parents:
October 23, 2008
Dear Homer Parents,
As many of you are aware, our music teacher, Jeff Dallen, was arrested Tuesday evening. In order to preserve the integrity of the case, Byng School Administration was not notified of the allegations against Mr. Dallen until late Tuesday evening. Byng School Superintendent, Mr. Todd Crabtree, was notified of Mr. Dallen’s arrest at approximately 7:15 pm, October 21 and met with him at the Ada Police Department at 7:30 pm that night. At that time, Mr. Crabtree informed Mr. Dallen that he would not be allowed on school premises pending the outcome of the investigation. When charges were filed Wednesday, October 22, Mr. Dallen was officially suspended from all teaching and supervisory duties at Homer Elementary.
In an attempt to answer some of your questions, we offer the following information:
* There will be no questioning of students by any Homer staff.
* There can be absolutely no questioning of students by any outside investigative agencies without parental presence.
* We are taking steps to increase classroom guidance with students that will better equip them to recognize and report inappropriate behaviors.

However, counselors will be available upon request. The counselors are available for parents as well as students.
* Our staff are being alert to children in their classrooms who may need counseling and have been advised to notify the parents and counselors.
* Counselors and Administrators are willing to be available after school hours if necessary. Please feel free to contact the school to arrange individual appointments. Our primary goal during this difficult period is to maintain as much normalcy for our students as possible. The Homer staff will continue to educate and serve our students in the outstanding way they always have. If you have any further questions and or concerns, please call me at school. We did not include explicit details about the allegations against Mr. Dallen in this letter to protect the children who are carrying this letter home.
