Mark Andrew Boyd - At Large & Extremely Dangerous

BoydUpdate: This suspect has been apprehended.

Houston, Texas. Mark Andrew Boyd wanted some cash. He took $1000 from the bank account of Wilbur Lee Ake Jr., using his ATM card. In return, Ake was stabbed several times, his head was scalped, and his face was cut off. Boyd, who has been charged with capital murder, is still on the loose.

The mutilated body of Wilbur Ake was discovered September 23 at the Polo Club Apartments, 14619 Ella in northern Harris County, where he resided.  According to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s report, Ake was killed by multiple sharp force injuries of the head, neck, torso, and extremities. Lt. John Denholm, of the Harris County Sheriff’s department said that “It seemed like he really enjoyed playing with the knife.”  Let’s hope no one else is hurt while this freak remains on the loose.

I remember Mark. I had his daughter is 2006, but he walked out on us after she was born. He told me that he wanted another son, not a daughter. At that time Mark only ejoyed taking pills. I had known him for three years before I had our daughter and he had been a friend of my family's for years before we had gotten together. It is very hard for me to see him as a monster, but now that I look back on my past with him, it is ALL coming together. He Loved guns. His favorite was a 357mag which he pulled on me and held it to my head cocked and loaded. He had a large knife selection and he would spend hours sharpening them. His son also enjoyed knives as much as his father, but what boy doesnt. Mark has not seen our daughter since the day she was born. Since hearing this news I have hired Melissa Loveless to draw up paperwork to have him taken off of her birthcertificate and allow her stepfather to adopt her. (He has been more of a father for almost 2 1/2 yrs to my daughter than Mark could ever be.)
