All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Just because someone is accused, does not necessarily mean they are guilty.
This fact, however, does not diminish the right of the people to hold their own opinion, or their right to express that opinion freely.

Who Killed Denise Stice?

Denise Stice was beaten, shot, and dumped in an Oklahoma City lake last November. To this date, there has not been an arrest. I hate to see this case go cold, but it appears that’s just where it is headed. People cared about Denise Stice. They want to know who did this. They want to see justice. Denise’s killer needs to see justice. Denise did not deserve to die so brutally.

SticeDenise Stice was found floating face up on the south side of Lake Overholser on November 27, 2007. Her body was nude except for her wedding ring. Denise suffered a single gunshot wound to the left side of her head. Her body was covered in cuts and bruises. One of her teeth had been badly fractured. Someone had given her a brutal beating before shooting her. The killer then dumped her body in the lake to hide evidence of the crime. A trail of blood led from the parking lot to the area of the lake where she was dumped. There was nothing to indicate that a sexual assault had occurred.

Don Stice, Denise’s husband, reported her missing that afternoon. A church youth group found the body that morning. It did not appear to have been there very long. Her car was recovered about three miles away in an apartment complex parking lot near NW 10 and N Tela Drive. A search of the Stice home was also conducted.

Authorities are not releasing much information, including whether or not they have any suspects. They say it is an active investigation.

Denise Stice had worked at Tinker Air Force Base since 1999.
