Timothy Vacher: Take Out The Trash
WTF? Why is this garbage even allowed to walk free? He just admitted to leering at two young girls (an 8 year-old and a 10 year-old) earlier this month –a violation of his probation. The mother of the ten year-old yelled at her daughter to get away from Timothy Vacher who was bent down on one knee, only a foot away, staring into her daughter’s eyes. This was in the shoe aisle at a Target store. “Even when I yelled at her, he didn’t flinch,” the woman said of Vacher.
But this wasn’t the beginning of Vacher’s deviate behavior –it was business as usual. He was convicted on December 26, 1995 of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior. He was exposing himself to teenage girls. He was convicted on February 9, 1998 of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age. He was caught touching a 6 year-old girl’s hips and licking her shoes at Emerald Square mall in 1996.
He is classified as a “High Risk” by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board –a Level 3 Sex Offender. Yet, for some reason, —one of the most dangerous offenders a child might have to encounter, was walking free.
Vacher was arrested on August 8 for his most recent charges. He is currently being held without bail while the judge decides whether or not to send him back to prison. Vacher’s attorney says the public will be safer with him remaining free and monitored with a tracking device. Whatever. Read the accompanying story for that bit of logic. I’d like to see him executed. It would be good for the environment.
