Santa Rosa Teen Assaulted – Composite Sketch of Attacker
A man grabbed a sixteen year-old girl and groped her while attempting a sexual assault. The attack occurred on Dutton Avenue near Funston Drive around 2:00 AM on August 19 in Santa Rosa California. According to the victim, she was returning home from her boyfriend’s house when a man drove along side her in a late model four-door sedan. The man repeatedly tried to coax her into his vehicle.
When she refused, the man got out of the car and grabbed her from behind and groped her as she fought him. She broke free and ran home.
The girl did not report the incident immediately because she was not supposed to have left the house. Her mother saw the injuries sustained by the girl and the girl finally told her what had happened.
The attacker is described as:
Olive-skinned with a thin build
Short, dark hair and a clean-shaven face
About 5′ 6″ tall
Spoke with a Spanish accent.
