Michael Portillo Is Wasting Oxygen
Nothing is right about this story. Things just don’t make sense. That’s not to say that Portillo isn’t a pervert, he’s admitted that much to police. The actions and reactions and times and other things are what don’t add up. See what you think.
Michael Portillo was called to work on the Independence Day weekend. Portillo, being the low-down dirtbag that he is, showed up under the influence. He follows a little girl into an unoccupied house at the job site in Duncan, Oklahoma, where he proceeds to rape her. Portillo says she just did what he said, without a fight. You can’t have consensual sex with a 12 year-old. There is no such thing, regardless of her upbringing or so-called “maturity.” A twelve year old is a child –plain and simple.
Portillo claims to realize what he is doing in time to leave evidence on the carpet. I guess he wants to blame this whole thing on his alcoholic haze. When questioned by investigators, Portillo says “wouldn’t say that he did nothing with the girl until he had an attorney present” according to Stephens County Deputy Randy Johnson. Portillo was informed that no further questions would be asked until he did indeed have an attorney. Portillo, curious about what happens to people who rape little girls, asks what is going to happen next. Johnson tells him that the evidence would be turned over to the DA who would decide whether or not to charge him with rape. Portillo, evidently as ignorant as he is perverted, says that it wasn’t rape, it was “just sex.” Maybe that’s what the guy will tell Portillo the next time he picks up the soap.
The father of the girl actually walked into the house to see what was going on, and found Michael Portillo adjusting his pants. It appears the father didn’t learn what went on until the trip home, when the daughter told him what Portillo had done to her.
Formal charges were filed against Portillo on July 17. Portillo is in the Stephens County jail on a $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 12.
Michael Portillo does have a criminal record. Back in 2000 he was convicted of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The photo on this post is from the time of that conviction. He was also found to be a dead-beat that was held in contempt for not paying child support. In 2006, he was convicted of public intoxication. That same year, his wife at the time filed an emergency protective order against him.
