Alert: 14-Year-Old Girl Missing
On July 30, 2008, the Newcastle County Police Department issued a press release concerning the disappearance of a 14 year-old girl.
Shaquanna Ferguson has been missing since Monday, July 21, when she left her home in the unit block of Sir Thomas Lane in the community of Wellington Woods. On Wednesday, June 23, police were told Shaquanna Ferguson may have went out her bedroom window two days earlier. Shaquanna has not contacted any family members or loved ones. According to information placed in a classified ad, Shaquanna is described as having reddish-brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black tank top and jeans with writing on the legs. She was wearing a star necklace, silver hoop earrings and black hightop Nikes. Shaquanna has a scar above her left eye. Shaquanna L. Ferguson stands 5’4″ tall and weighs about 125 lbs.
