Teacher’s Spurious Story Doesn’t Fly
No surprises here. The teacher killed his wife and tried the lamest story in the book to get away with it. His sham statement was the typical “blame it on the mystery man” that these dumbass killers are always laying on the press. The press seems to cooperate with these liars –never questioning that such a silly story might just be a big fat lie. An Indian in a white truck. How low can you go, Mr Kastner?
No one broke into the Kastner home. He shot his wife in the head while she was asleep with a gun that he had bought only eight days prior. He even test fired the gun, a miniature 22 caliber revolver, the night before to see if the neighbors would here shots fired, which they did not. Kastner was arrested before the funeral of his wife began. No need to add further insult.
The incredible story outlined in the last post is only part of the fantastic figment Kastner was trying to sell to authorities. The story contains some even wilder claims, including that Kastner himself was a member of Israeli Special Forces and had access to millions through his association with the Israeli military –specifically, 713 corporation, a false entity. According to a police affidavit, Lori Kastner was employed by this charitable organization. He said the gun was left out next to a bag containing five thousand dollars. He said he woke up to see the mystery man pointing that same gun at him –his own gun that he had only bought just eight days ago.
So, why did Kastner commit this horrible crime? Why would he kill his own wife –with his own children were sleeping under that same roof? We know that Kastner recently resigned from his coaching duties. We do not know why or if that was a sign of things to come. Jim Harper, Webster head football coach, told the Tulsa World, “That’s a personnel decision, and I cannot comment.”
Kastner had been making financial pledges to the school. Not a few thousand dollars, but millions of dollars. Upwards of $90,000 for athletic equipment. Up to $100,000 for driver’s education. $2 million dollars spread out over three years for academics. Kastner claimed he was in line for a large inheritance from his father’s invention for printing presses. Detectives found that Kastner was, in reality, deeply in debt.
Did John Kastner kill his wife so he could appear to be a great philanthropist? This is a strange story. Lori Kastner is dead because of this man’s fantastic whims. Children are without their mother. I hope justice is served in this case. This is not a man that is needs to be walking free.
