Update: Truck Located in Altus Death

OSBI agents and Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies have been searching for the pickup truck of homicide victim Johnny Ray Lee since last week. Lee’s body was found in a ditch just outside the Altus city limits Saturday, May 3rd. His pickup truck — a red, 1986 Ford F150 with a missing tailgate and Oklahoma license tag JCV-565 — was missing.
That vehicle was found Saturday morning in a field about three miles southwest of where Lee’s body was discovered. OSBI is still awaiting toxicology test results from the medical examiner’s office to determine exact cause of death.
OSBI is working to establish a time line of Lee’s movements Friday, May 2. If anyone saw Lee or his pickup truck in the evening hours of May 2, please contact either the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
